The back had a few minor issues. The problem is that I really enjoy fixing my girls hair and I can be a little OCD about it. But I didn't say anything and she went the whole day being very happy with herself and her hair. We'll have to try to work out a deal where she'll get to fix her hair sometimes and other days it's my job. I'm not ready to give it up altogether.
She also decided that she needed to fix Bridgett's hair. Overall it looked fine. I'm not sure how keen Bridgett was on it because it takes a little while but she was a good sport. Bridgett has also tried fixing her own hair but this generally means her standing in front of the mirror and every 2 minutes or so letting out an exasperated yell and hitting the counter with her brush. She's four and she wants there to be no bumps or any loose hair. I'm hoping she'll decide to wait a few years.

You deserve some real mommy points for letting her keep her new style! I know what you mean about loving to do their hair, my girls only allow me Sunday and it is a severe struggle and that is only one day a week! To bad Holman has to keep his short because that boy's hair grows so fast I could do some serious braids :)
Kaitlynn does her own hair sometimes, but when she came in the other day all dressed up with her lip-gloss, bright green plastic jewels stuck to her earrings, and a black band in her hair, it was hard not to giggle. She felt so beautiful and so proud of herself.
